If it’s not already here!
This Winter in Gippsland seems as if it’s reverting to the traditional cool days with crystal blue skies, i.e., perfect for flight training and touring. The views of the 90-Mile Beach and Lakes district, the snow-capped Great Dividing Range, Wilson’s Promontory and the Latrobe Valley are as good as it gets anywhere in Australia through the winter months!
We will be quite likely to experience many days of lazy high pressure systems with associated CAVOK Wx, nil turbulence, unlimited visibility and light winds, perfect for ab-initio and more advanced flight training.
It’s also an excellent time to freshen up your skills and complete your Aeroplane Flight Review, usually only one full day and a great opportunity to sharpen up some of the skills and knowledge that may have become a bit rusty!
In other news our second Musketeer – a fuel-injected 165 BHP Model A23A – has been doing plenty of Private Hire and is proving to be quite a nice touring aeroplane for you and 3 pax.
Looking forwards to flying with you all over Winter!
There is more exciting news coming very soon – stay tuned!
