Overview

To obtain your Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane), you must pass the seven CPL(A) Theory Examinations. AFTS offers a discounted CPL(A) Theory Package which covers the required knowledge for all seven subjects. This course is run full time over six (6) weeks and includes days designated for CASA Examinations. Therefore, on completion of the course, you will ideally have passed all the CASA Examinations and can return to your flight training!

Prerequisites

Pass in the PPL(A) Examination.

Conduct

160 x 45 minute lessons over 6 weeks, with designated days for personal study and CASA Examinations, conducted each weekday from 0800 to 1700 hours, at the GFT Theory & Briefing Room, Hangar 3, 26-28 Lockheed Close, West Sale Airport, Victoria, 3851.

Examination

All seven CASA CPL Examinations are provided by Aspeq Exam Centres from Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays. Aspeq sitting fees vary from $92.09 to $115.13 and the CASA fee is $65 per exam.
