Theory Course Information

Overview

This course is 50:50 theory and practical. It is intended to teach the basics of survival and assist the trainee in the building of a practical survival kit. The focus is on surviving a forced landing in a light aircraft in the rugged terrain in the Designated Remote Area to the north.

Conduct

Either 8 x 45 minute lessons per day over two days, from 0800 to 1700 hours; OR 4 x 45 minute lessons per day over four evenings, from 1800 to 2200 hours; At the GFT Theory & Briefing Room, Hangar 3, 26-28 Lockheed Close, West Sale Airport, Victoria, 3851.
