Overview
To use an aeronautical radio without holding a pilots licence, you must hold an Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate by passing the Flight Radio Operator in-house examination.
Our two day course provides you with an in-depth knowledge of aeronautical radio systems and their operation, ensuring you are more than ready for the examination and confident in the air.

Conduct
Either 14 x 45 minute lessons over 1.75 days, from 0800 to 1700 hours; OR 4 x 45 minute lessons per day over four evenings, from 1800 to 2200 hours; at the GFT Theory & Briefing Room, Hangar 3, 26-28 Lockheed Close, West Sale Airport, Victoria, 3851.
Examination
In-house, 20 questions, 60 minutes allowed, pass mark 70%.
The sitting fee is $60 and the CASA fee is $50.
