Theory Course Information

Overview

This course is intended primarily for our Professional Pilot Training (“PPT”) Course Students and is one of five precursor subjects designed to bridge the gap between high school maths and sciences and the commencement of the PPT.

Prerequisites

Pass in Year 10 Science and completion of AFTS BMAT, BPHY, BMAE & BELE Courses.

Conduct

Either 8 x 45 minute lessons per day over two days, from 0800 to 1700 hours; OR 4 x 45 minute lessons per day over four evenings, from 1800 to 2200 hours; at the GFT Theory & Briefing Room, Hangar 3, 26-28 Lockheed Close, West Sale Airport, Victoria, 3851.

Examination

In-house, 20 questions, 60 minutes allowed, pass mark 75%.
