Overview

Originally designed for military purposes, formation flight now has a small yet significant role in General Aviation. Ever wanted to fly in formation with your friends? This comprehensive course will teach you all the do’s and don’ts of formation flying, along with expert training and advice from our highly experienced formation instructors that will complement your formation flying training.

Prerequisites

Private Pilot Licence (Aeroplane) minimum.

Conduct

4 x 45 minute lessons conducted in one morning/afternoon/ evening; at the GFT Theory & Briefing Room, Hangar 3, 26-28 Lockheed Close, West Sale Airport, Victoria, 3851.

Examination

In-house, 20 questions, 60 minutes allowed, pass mark 70%.

The sitting fee is $60 and there is no associated CASA fee.
